Mekong Delta Homestay in Can Tho
 This 2 day Mekong Delta home stay tour offers us to deep in and experience the daily life of the vibrant Mekong Delta region in the South of Vietnam. We make our way through the tributaries of the Mekong Delta. From our boats, we truly participate in the bustling commercial activities as we can buy fruits from the floating market. Along the way, we will visit an orchard gardens, cottage industry villages, and a land market with an abundance of colorful fresh fruits and vegetables. We will be host by a local family and stay in their traditional house.
Itinerary
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City - My Tho - Can Tho - Homestay (L, D)
Depart early in the morning for My Tho, the first bustling town of Mekong region, upon arrival at My Tho, take a boat trip to Con Phung (Phoenix Island) at a Mekong River estuary. Stop at a garden restaurant for lunch. Then cruise along natural creeks and quiet villages in Ben Tre province. Visit orchards, bee farms, taste natural honey, honey wine and tropical fruits, listen to local music, visit a distillery and a local coconut candy maker. Then move to Can Tho to have dinner and cultural exchange with a local family. Homestay.
Day 2: Can Tho - Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)
Early wake up for optional short biking or walking around the village and visiting fruit gardens. After breakfast, cruise along the small and picturesque tributaries by rowing boat to visit the Cai Rang floating market (the nicest one with heaps of rowing boats). Stop at another village to visit a rice husking mill, and walk around the village. See the beautiful scenery and daily activities of the locals. Disembark at Ninh Kieu quay, visit an ancient house (in Binh Thuy, 10 km from Cantho) and Can Tho museum. Have lunch at a local restaurant on the way back to Sai Gon via My Tho.
